Sid the Fraud

When DChino asked him about why he played w/o a visor the other day, Sidney Crosby smiled gayly as to have been shot with sperm in the mouth and said, "I had a scratch on my visor."

Here is what Sidney Crosby wants you to really believe as to why he briefly removed the protective visor from his helmet during the first period of Sunday's home win over Boston:

Bruins center Marc Savard taunted Crosby after a Boston goal, and the taunting continued until both players neared their benches. Crosby challenged Savard to fight, and Savard responded: "Take off that pussy shield, and I'll be glad to."

So Crosby handed his helmet to equipment manager Dana Heinze and told him to remove the visor. Crosby took the ice for his next shift sans shield but Savard supposedly backed down.

Crosby had Heinze reattach the visor during the first intermission because, in front of the television in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Sid's mother Trina was probably close to having a heart attack.

Here's a photo of the real Sidney Crosby
